Christchurch Borough Council and East Dorset District Council submitted their original Charging Schedules for examination to the Secretary of State on 5 December 2014.
Mr Jameson Bridgwater DipTP MRTPI was appointed by the Secretary of State as the Planning Inspector to undertake the examination of the Draft Charging Schedules.
The councils received the Examiner's Report on the Examination of the Draft Christchurch and East Dorset Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedule on the 10 July 2015. The report recommends that the Draft Charging Schedules for Christchurch and East Dorset (as modified through the Statement of Modifications 5 December 2014, Statement of Further Modifications 23 January 2015 and Statement of Modifications Arising from the Examination of the Draft Charging Schedules 23 March 2015) be approved without changes.

The hearing session was reconvened on Thursday 14 May 2015 at Christchurch Borough Council, Council Chamber, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Christchurch, BH23 1AZ.
The first part of the hearing session took place on Tuesday 17 March 2015 in the Council Chamber at Christchurch Borough Council. Following this, the examination was then adjourned to allow further amendments to the Draft Charging Schedules to be consulted upon.

The Inspector's Briefing Notes (added 13 February 2015) are available and provide information about the Examination of the Draft Charging Schedules. They are intended to assist with the efficient running of the Examination.
As part of the examination of the Draft Charging Schedules, a Statement of Modifications arising from the Examination was prepared. Requests to be heard by the examiner on these modifications closed on Monday 20 April 2015.
