Pre-application advice

All pre-application enquiries should be made to the Planning Authority, with the request that the specialist advice of the Highway Authority is being sought. It is important that the Planning Authority gets sight of all potential schemes as this allows them to provide any high-level planning comments they may wish to make. They will be able to provide you with the relevant timescales and fees.

For more information, please refer to our Planning Pre-Application page and the Planning Fees and Charges document.
