Progress on the Dorset local nature recovery strategy
Progress:
- a draft description of Dorset's nature, pressures and opportunities has been written
- the draft nature recovery priorities have been refined and short explainer paragraphs added
- the draft vision for Nature Recovery Dorset is being amended by the communications and engagement group
- the Nature Areas - Local Importance and Habitats and ecological networks maps are being produced by Dorset Environmental Records Centre

Over the summer we are attending the:
- Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show CLA breakfast - Wednesday 14 August
- Melplash Show - Thursday 22 August
- Dorset County Show - Saturday 7 - Sunday 8 September

We are also hosting a farm walk and workshop for farmers, landowners and our advisory groups in September.

We are finalising the registration process to join the Nature Recovery Dorset network.
